With war going on, access to medication got extremely affected. Manufacturing in Ukraine has been disrupted significantly. Constant missile and drone attacks on infrastructure throughout the country disrupted operation of plants, pharmaceutical companies, power and water supply. Imports got affected too. As the result, many Ukrainians who rely on medications found themselves in a really dire situation. In addition to regular chronic diseases, more and more people got injuries from shelling and rockets. Hospitals are being pushed to their limits. Drug shortages are everywhere. Our organization did purchase and deliver medications such as antibiotics, thyroid medications, heart and high blood pressure drugs, anesthesia, and others. We were able to buy some from local companies, some were brought from abroad. Delivering medicines to both citizens and hospitals throughout eastern and southern Ukraine.
