September 1st is the first day of school for kids in Ukraine. It is generally a big event full of celebration, activities and lots of flowers. One of the schools in Vil'nohirs'k held an event on Sept 1st titled "support Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of bringing flowers" where parents and volunteers collected donations to support defenders. Our volunteers had matched the donations ($800 in total) and purchased 4 batteries for military trucks which will be delivered to the 45th Mechanized Brigade.

We also sent them 160 dry showers to help with personal hygiene in trenches.

School children made some souvenirs and drawings to cheer the defenders up.
