In the fundraising we started in response to the appeal from artillery reconnaissance personnel of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade (see our post from November 18 - November 18, 2023) we collected just over $5000, enough to buy two Mavic 3 Classic drones and some spare batteries for them.

I sent out an appeal to a bunch of local stores and outlets in the greater Toronto area looking to maximize the value for the money we have collected. Almost immediately I received a response from Thom Taylor, the assistant manager at a local Visions Electronics store right here in Kitchener, Ontario. We discussed the details and Thom located two drones at warehouses and had them delivered. He also offered a nice discount for us which means that we can use the extra funds for other needs of our volunteers in Ukraine.

In this picture, Thom offers his support to Ukraine and hands over the drones to us. Soon they will be on the plane to Ukraine and eventually to the 93rd brigade.

Thank you everyone who helped us with their donations and to Thom for helping us secure drones at a really good price.
