Our mechanic found what was wrong with the gear box of the green Opel truck we brought in for repairs. The defect was "hard to spot" :)

Now the issue here is that this truck model is quite rare and old and spare parts for it are nowhere to be found, not in Ukraine, not in neighboring countries. A local machining shop offered to hand-make the worn out gears, but the lathe operator is currently on sick leave. Once he's back and the gears are made, we will continue repairs to that truck.
