Our volunteers are continuously producing devices to assist with loading assault rifle magazines, as are hundreds of others across Ukraine who are using their 3D printers in coordination with the PrintArmy. However, a major challenge has arisen due to the shortage of trigger springs, which are essential for automatic round loading into magazines. These specialized springs are currently unavailable, as stocks have been depleted by volunteers. Attempts to create homemade springs by winding wire on a drill bit or using safety pins have proven ineffective.

Sergiy has found a spring factory willing to manufacture these springs to our specifications, ensuring a perfect fit for the model. He has placed an order for 20,000 springs, costing ₴24400 (CA$870/US$650), with the intention of sharing the supply with others producing these hand-saving devices for defenders. Over 60 small packages have already been dispatched to individuals across the country, with nearly half of the springs distributed. This initiative will result in a higher volume of magazine loaders being produced for military use by volunteers throughout Ukraine.
