Our volunteers need a flatbed trailer to facilitate with evacuations of damaged trucks from the frontlines. They keep renting one every time they need to go to the zero line to pull a vehicle out for repairs. These costs add up. We decided to have our own trailer capable of loading and towing trucks even if all their wheels are damaged is a worthwhile investment and will save lots of time and cost down the road.

We located a local manufacturer that can make a trailer for us with the specifications we need. A new trailer with a loading winch and a spare tire will cost us ₴133,000 (CA$4,500/US$3,300). This is a heavy-duty double-axle trailer with load capacity of 3 tons (6600 lbs) which should be enough for towing most pickups and SUVs.
