Yet another batch of 4,000 tailfins is being shipped to the ДрукАрмія. This batch also weighs 24 kilograms of plastic filament. As you can see we go through the materials quite rapidly. Our volunteers use around $1,000 worth of plastic a month, but this month is especially taxing. We have almost used up this month's supply and we are barely halfway through February. The reason for this is that these tailfins are of extremely high demand. At the moment, we have an order for 50,000 tailfins from the military. So we have a long way to go. We are really grateful to our supporters for your regular donations which allow us to keep producing more critical supplies.

Every time we post an update on our 3D printing production progress we receive many of the same questions again and again. So I'll try to answer them preemptively here.

Q: What are these tailfins used for?
A: They are stabilizers for drone-borne munitions.

Q: I have a 3D printer and I'd like to participate. How?
A: You can sign up at ДрукАрмія. They have a web site where you can join the effort. They handle order collection, work assignments, final product distribution. There are many volunteers in this network, both in Ukraine and abroad. For people abroad, shipping costs become a consideration, especially for folks in North America. In some cases, it is more economical to just donate money for people in Ukraine to actually produce these. See the next question on how to donate.

Q: How can I help Ukraine?
A: The best way is to donate. We have numerous ways of transferring money in multiple currencies. Pick the method that works best for you. For donation links, see the first pinned post on the Donate page.
