Camouflage nets: news and updates from Ukraine Support Fund.
One person was going to the eastern front to the 17th tank brigade delivering water and food. They stopped by our volunteer center and we also supplied a 5x6 camo netting and some medications for them. All of the goodies have been delivered to their destination.
A 9x7m camouflage net for the 4th assault battalion of the 783rd brigade. Thank you everyone for the donations which allowed us to buy the materials to make these nets. They do make a huge difference on the front lines.
The cut strips of fabric we bought recently is arriving at our volunteer center from the factory. It will be turned into camouflage netting really soon.
We purchased almost 2,000 m² of net base to be able to continue production of camo netting. The cost of the material was about $300.
Six more rolls of fabric have been purchased to keep up with the net production. Most are white and gray for snow patterns, but we still make nets out of green/brown fabric too, especially for the southern front where winters are not as snowy. The cost of material is about $700.
A Ukrainian defender was on rehabilitation after being wounded. He has finished his treatment and is returning to the front on Monday. He stopped by to pick up a camouflage net for his vehicle. The volunteers gave him a warm welcome as they should for a hero.

Sergey gives a brief tour of our volunteer center's camouflage net production facilities. As winter-themed camo netting production is ramping up, we are buying more materials to keep up with demand. 2 more rolls of gray fabric has been purchased for about $240.
One of our nets literally saved a few soldiers' lives recently. It caught a grenade which tangled and exploded in the net itself, causing no damage or injuries below.
Our volunteers have run out of black fabric for camo netting. So we procured another large roll at ₴3100 (~$117).
